Awards & Badges you can earn...

Like the title says, here are some awards, badges & patches you can earn--there might be some patches & stuff to earn on other pages. For example, both Gettysburg and Shiloh have links on the Funtastic Places! page and there are patches to earn as well. Check 'em all out!

The Insignia Guide shows were to place these badges on your uniform.

a Scout is Reverent

The religious emblems programs are programs created by the various religious groups to encourage youth to grow stronger in their faith.

The religious groups — not the Boy Scouts of America — have created the religious emblems programs themselves.

The Boy Scouts of America has approved of these programs and allows the recognition to be worn on the official uniform, but each religious organization develops and administers its own program.

The best source for religious recognition programs on the web. In person, contact the troop chaplain and he will tell you to check out Programs of Religious Activities with Youth (praypub.org).

These sites offer more information about denominational interaction with Scouting.
